The President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has arrived in Tirana. He was welcomed at the airport by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is coming to our country for the first time as president of the UAE, leading a high-level delegation. The President of the United Arab Emirates is being welcomed with a state ceremony at the Brigades Palace.
Along with the Prime Minister, Al Nahyan was also received by several government ministers, and a delegation from the United Arab Emirates was also present, accompanying their president.
It is expected that Rama and bin Zayed Al Nahyan will hold a "head-to-head" meeting and then sign several agreements between the parties.
His arrival for the first time in Tirana was announced a day ago by Prime Minister Edi Rama. The head of government said that his visit to Albania marks an important milestone and a recently strengthened partnership. Prime Minister Rama also said that Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan promoted the agreement for the port of Durrës, as well as having a leading role in the trilateral agreement with Italy for the strategic investment for the underwater energy connection.
