Today's session in the Assembly started with the complaints of the opposition MPs about the lack of notification regarding the acceptance or not of the interpellations called by the opposition.
The head of the DP group, Gazment Bardhi, has requested an interpellation with Prime Minister Edi Rama, regarding the Xibraka file.
Not receiving an answer from the Assembly has irritated Bardhi, who had a clash with the Speaker of the Parliament, Lindita Nikolla.
According to him, Nikola refused the request because he is afraid of Rama.
After the collision, Bardhi insisted on an interview with Prime Minister Rama.
"We requested an urgent interview with the Prime Minister for a scandalous intervention of the Prime Minister in the Italian media. You rejected the request, and I understand because the prime minister ordered you to protect him because he is afraid. Your arrogance cannot be imposed on the Assembly. It is the Assembly that will have to decide, but I understand that you are afraid to mention the name of the Prime Minister." Bardhi addressed Speaker of Parliament Nikolla.
Then in high tones, Bardhi said that Rama has also intimidated the state media of RAI3 and must be held accountable.
"Last week, after the rejected request for the prime minister to come and give an answer for his involvement in Xibraka's laboratory. Now after a show in Italy, Rama has tried to put pressure on the state media on RAI3. In Italy, in the senate, the phone call of to the director of RAI 3, Prime Minister Rama accepted the call, explaining that he was defending his secretary, whom RAI considers to be the trafficker's lawyer, but the documentary was about the involvement of the prime minister's brother in the laboratory of Xibraka. If the first case is handled by justice, the prime minister must explain the reasons that forced him to treat the Italian media as the media in Albania. As if the journalists and professionals themselves report, no national newsrooms or other TVs left called personally so that they would not report his brother, but this call to the director of RAI damages the image of Albania, a candidate country for the EU, that dares to intimidate the director, harms the public interest of Albania and the European future of the country. In this context, we have requested that the prime minister provide full explanations on the reasons and content of the phone call with the director of RAI3. This has to do with his activity as prime minister. Because Rama did not call the director as a painter, but he called the director of RAI3 as the prime minister of Albania and in this case it has to do with his state activity. It would be in your honor, President, to respect the Constitution and include the interpellation in the agenda and leave the shame of hiding as a coward to the Prime Minister and not to the majority," said Bardhi.
After the collision with Nikolla, he also collided with MP Erion Braçe.
"I apologize when there is reflection from the Speaker of the Assembly, there is also from our side. Yes, yes, is it possible for you to shut your mouth there now, gore, it's been getting on our nerves since the morning", Gazment Bardhi addresses him.
