"With what morality will I ask for your votes?", Enkelejd Alibeaj: How
Enkelejd Alibeaj

Founder of "Djathtas 1912", Enkelejd Alibeaj, says he does not believe in Sali Berisha's political offer for the May 11 elections, saying that "for an opposition to be superior to the government, it must be morally superior."

"For an opposition to be superior to the government, it must be morally superior, it must be a political offer and I do not believe in Sali Berisha's offer," said Alibeaj.

According to him, Berisha has turned the DP into a shield for personal troubles.

"I don't have a problem with the man, Sali Berisha, but with his behavior. A party cannot become a shield for personal troubles. A politician puts his own troubles aside and leaves people as mere fodder for Edi Rama's feast," he said on a television show.

Among other things, the MP stated that the opposition should unite around values.

"In my opinion, the opposition can unite around values. We are around values of unconditional support for justice. We must maintain relations with US institutions," he said.
Regarding relations with the US after Trump's victory, Alibeaj said that he would like more support for justice and the electoral system from the new administration.

"I would like even stronger support for justice from the US and secondly, even stronger support for the electoral system. I believe it will happen. Then the question of who will lead this country will be decided by the Albanians. For an opposition, I speak for myself now, I would be pleased that Albanians had the opportunity for free and fair elections. To limit Edi Rama's immense thirst for stealing elections. And for justice to act without political selectivity as it has been for me so far," said Alibeaj.
