On the show 'Të Pashoq', analyst Milaim Zeka was asked about the May 11 elections and how he predicted the outcome.
Zeka said he was convinced that Edi Rama would win another mandate. He said that Edi Rama's mission is to bring Albania into the EU. Zeka added that Rama is the first political leader who has given Albania a different international image.
" The opposition is not convincing the citizens of Albania, it is not showing that it has a different platform, a different strategy. Here you only hear accusations. It would be good for the new parties to be strengthened, for us to have a strong opposition.
The Albanian citizen does not feel at all that Sali Berisha has hired that Trump strategist for the elections. Albania is not suffering for spectacles, it is suffering to convince that ordinary citizen because he must vote for the opposition. The one who has come comes for spectacles and there have always been spectacles here.
"I also think that Veliaj's arrest does not affect the elections at all, because everyone here is arrested. Ilir Meta is arrested, Sali Berisha is on trial ," said Zeka.
Asked if he thinks former Prime Minister Sali Berisha will be removed from the US as 'non grata', he said that as long as he knows how the American state functions, the 'non grata' will not be removed.
