US Embassy Message, Berisha: Even European Partners Will Not Accept This Farce

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, declared that in these 34 years in politics, his richest experience is the electoral one. Berisha emphasized that these elections were a political farce. He added that Rama bought votes with cannabis, gave out 100 or so licenses and is buying votes with jobs.

"Coming to the latter, we talk about elections, but it is a farce. We have managed to denounce it with strong facts from the international right and the center-right.

There are 4 of their resolutions in which the elections are branded as a farce.

On April 30, 80 right-wing parties voted on a resolution stating that Edi Rama is suppressing democracy, that Edi Rama is buying votes with cannabis, that he gave out 100 or so licenses, that he is buying votes with jobs, that he has created a system of patronage that contradicts international election principles.

"So, these elections were branded as a farce. The resolution emphasizes that Edi Rama used political terror to obtain a fourth mandate, arresting and persecuting 3 opposition leaders ," Berisha said.

The leading democrat emphasized that the message from the United States embassy was a message for Albanian citizens, not for Edi Rama. He stated that Rama is capable of doing anything for the sake of power.

According to Berisha, European partners cannot accept this farce after being acquainted with the details and concrete documents with evidence.

"European partners cannot accept this farce after getting to know it in detail and with concrete documents with evidence. Edi Rama is as capable as his father of signing the hanging of a poet, Rama is as capable of doing so for the sake of his power."

Businesses without energy contracts face prices three times higher in Kosovo.

"And this is because Edi Rama knows that he has committed crimes in Albania," Berisha told "Ora News".
