The deputy of the DP, Agron Gjekmarkaj, commenting on the developments in the DP and the political situation in the country, emphasized that the ministers of the Rama government are parading in SPAK and that the current government has fallen.
Invited to the "Opinion" column in "News 24", Gjekmarkaj said that Albania is falling into the dictatorship of corruption. Regarding the situation in DP and Berisha, Gjekmarkaj said that the fact that most of the democrats followed the former prime minister means that he is an indisputable leader for the Democratic Party.
"Plenary sessions have been abnormal for months. The leader of the opposition was arrested even without investigation. The Prime Minister has realized that his weak link is corruption. Ministers parade in SPAK and we can say that this government has fallen morally. Anti-corruption is the slogan of the government and there is no way for it to be a Commission. We are falling into the absolute dictatorship of corruption. The majority is faded and pale. Regarding the Anticorruption Commission, I can say that we do not wash the dirty face of the government. I believe that DP has started the NATO journey, it has started the European path and it will be the one that will close the European integration process. PD is acting differently.
Regarding Mr. Berisha, the fact that most of the Democrats followed him, shows that Sali Berisha is an indisputable leader for the Democratic Party. DP is the only institution that can stop the government's wrong move. The Democratic Party has not been prohibited from discussing the issue of whether Berisha will be the candidate for prime minister. We have not stopped yet to find the formula of how we will face the opponent. I think that DP will make the right decision on this matter. I can't be a fortune teller, we haven't discussed this in the party ", said Gjekmarkaj.
