Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Igli Hasani met in Kiev with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The Minister said that they exchanged the instruments of ratification of the Agreement of Friendship and Cooperation between Ukraine and Albania and signed a Memorandum of Understanding, focused on cooperation in European integration.
Hasani reiterated Albania's determination to stand with Ukraine in its war with Russia.
"Productive meetings in Kiev with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Deputy Prime Minister Olga Stefanishyna and Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. We exchanged instruments of ratification of the Agreement on Friendship and Cooperation between Ukraine and Albania and signed a Memorandum of Understanding, focused on cooperation in European integration. These steps represent significant progress in strengthening relations between our countries and reaffirm our commitment to a strong and sustainable partnership. Albania stands resolutely with Ukraine on its path towards peace, security and a European future," Hasani said in his post on "X".
