The SP's anti-corruption resolution is approved, Çuçi
With 9 votes of the majority, the draft resolution "On deepening reforms for good governance, rule of law and anti-corruption for Albania 2030 in the European Union" was approved.

The draft resolution passes on Monday in the plenary session.

At the meeting of the Conference of Speakers, the head of the SP Parliamentary Group, Bledi Çuçi proposed the date of May 27 for sending the draft resolution to the Assembly.

Responding to the concerns of the opposition deputy, Jorida Tabaku, the chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party explained why it is necessary to approve the resolution and set up the Special Commission.

Çuçi emphasized that there is no overlap with the powers of any other commission, nor with the work of the National Integration Council. 

"The government cannot do this, that's why we are taking such an initiative in the Parliament. The government is one of the institutions that will report on good governance and the fight against corruption. There is no concern about the overlap of powers from the European Integration Council or the commissions of The Screenig process is the main source that leads us to take this initiative by declaring the fight against corruption and good governance a priority. Undoubtedly, the majority has the main burden because it has been delegated by the citizens, but we have asked for inclusiveness in the Parliament to lead this. initiative", declared Çuçi.
