The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, responded to MP Flamur Noka in the Laws Committee.

Flamur Noka issued several accusations on behalf of Sali Berisha that according to them SPAK is fighting the opposition politically.

Duman emphasized that he is doing his best in the task assigned to him, while adding that putting someone in prison is not a pleasure.

"My ears don't grow either when they praise me or when they insult me. Anyone who knows me knows very well what I represent, I remain the same. Today, in this task entrusted to me, I am trying to do my best.  Are we to be criticized? Definitely yes, but when there is reason to worry you should. You referred to the IDM report, but you did not say the assessment for SPAK, you also said this. We are the ultimate SKY, filing charges putting people in jail is never fun! But this is our duty and we do not sleep peacefully whether we have made the right decision or not. but also refer to the international reports on the work of SPAK", said Dumani.

Further, the head of SPAK Altin Dumani emphasized that politics has no chance of affecting his duty as a prosecutor, while adding that justice cannot be challenged.

"You said what I was, I am. How my hands were tied in 2008 and not even in 2023. As a prosecutor. I am a prosecutor, I am not a leader. This is a function that connects me to a prosecutor. Politics has no chance to influence me who I have no chance in my work and that of my colleagues.  Every decision can be controlled by the judicial system and I am not a hostage to anyone belongs to criminal proceedings to fight the opposition? My hands are tied?" - said Dumani.

While Altin Dumani was reporting to the Law Commission, on the other hand, the democratic deputy Flamur Noka appeared in the session today with a T-shirt bearing the photo of Sali Berisha with the inscription 'Free Berisha'.
