Debate on 'Laws'/ Ndreca: Prosecutors do not implement court
The head of the High Inspectorate of Justice, Artur Metani, has been invited to the Laws Commission for questioning.

The session in the Law Commission between Plarent Ndreca and Artur Metani was held with debates.

SP MP Plarent Ndreca said that many prosecutors do not implement the final decisions of the courts. Ndreca also emphasized that it is not clear from the report compiled by ILD what work has been done to reform the justice system.

"ILD has no communication with the National Chamber of Advocates. PP's recommendations are not implemented by prosecutors. There is a high number of rejections of recourses. There are cases when the prosecutor does not implement the court's final decision. There are seizures without economic value. There are no criminal investigations for the disclosure of investigative secrets. There is a high level of decision-making in closed rooms, out of public view. ILD, from what we see in the report, we do not see what results there are", said Ndreca.

On the other hand, Artur Metani emphasized that ILD is not SPAK, adding that the High Inspectorate of Justice conducts inspections and operates with standards.

"ILD is an institution with high transparency. Problematic for ILD is the non-examination of complaints. I am not a SPAK and I will never become a prosecutor or a judge. ILD performs with standards, which have been confirmed. The problems that the system has are solved by the system itself through the steps it has. These are standards set for the work of prosecutors and judges. Over 2,300 complaints have been handled. The problem exists and is being followed carefully. ILD has also carried out systematic inspections" , Metani stressed.
