Here is the history of Rama's 3 governments...
Prime Minister Edi Rama has ended his vacation and has begun preparations for the new government. By September 10, he must present the ministers who will represent the "Rama 4" government, while in the corridors there is talk that we may have strong developments in both the names and the form of the ministries.
But while no one knows except the prime minister what the new government will be like, we can say that in the other 3 governments there have been many changes year after year.
In 2013, Rama came to power thanks to a coalition with the SMI, and for this reason, we had ministers in the government proposed by Ilir Meta, and it was also one of the largest governments, with a full 19 ministers.
While in 2017 and 2021, Rama kept the cake for himself. The 2013-2017 government can be considered among the first serious and representative ones as it had names like: Shkëlqim Cani, Saimir Tahiri, Mimi Kodheli, Ditmir Bushti.
The 'Rama 2' government would have 6 fewer ministers than his first government. The new cabinet had a total of 13 ministries, of which two were Ministers of State without portfolio.
In the new government, the Ministry of Finance was merged with the Ministry of Economy, as well as the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. The Ministry of European Integration, the Ministry of Innovation and Public Administration, the Ministry of Social Welfare and Youth, Urban Development and Tourism from 'Rama 1' were completely merged.
The 'Rama 3' government initially had 15 ministries, of which 4 were state ministers without portfolios, but with changes along the way, it increased to 17.
