The passing of academician Rexhep Qosja, Balla requests 1 minute of silence in the Parliament

The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has requested a minute of silence in honor of academic Rexhep Qosja, who passed away today.

"It is vital for the respect for the contribution to Albanian and Albania, to appreciate the contribution of the academic, for the request that at a certain moment, during today, we remember his work by holding a minute of silence. The family has requested that there be no institutional ceremony. May his memory not be forgotten," Balla said.

Meanwhile, it is learned that Rexhep Qosja was escorted to his final residence peacefully and without official ceremonies, in accordance with his previous will. The family respected this wish, organizing a ceremony limited to only the closest family circle.
