Former MP Gerti Bogdani passed away suddenly at noon this Wednesday, after suffering a cardiac arrest while in a bar in the capital.
All politics reacted by expressing messages of condolence for his sudden departure from life, former president Bamir Topi was among them.
Topi expressed his sadness and pain for the untimely death of Bogdan, whose loss, he said, he would never want to hear.
" It was a terrible, shocking news for me because in addition to being public, Gerti Bogdani is one of the members of the Bogdani family with whom I have personal and family friendships, it is an untimely separation of a man that I would separate from any other politician. A boy with a strong academic background, citizen who did not know how to exchange even with the political opponent any word with political connotation, is a great loss for his parents, wife, children and I honestly feel very sad.
I met him by coincidence on a death case only a week ago; always smiling, communicative, I met him on many occasions, we stayed close together. He was someone with aspirations for life, he was indeed part of a party, but he was never a hostage of political parties ," said Topi, for "EuronewsAlbania".
