The deputy of the Democratic Party, Edmond Spaho, commented on the meeting held yesterday between 43 democratic deputies.
He said that at this table they gathered a bigger issue than personal problems such as the confrontation with Edi Rama's government and that this meeting was a reflection of the wishes of the democrats at the base.
" We have a more important issue, how we will face the government of Edi Rama. Yesterday's meeting was not a reflection of personal attitudes, it was a reflection of the wishes of the members of the Democratic Party at the Base and of those who vote for the Democratic Party" , said Edmond Spaho.
Asked why they did not choose to reflect with Basha's group as well, Spaho answered:
" I think that Lulzim Basha is working with Edi Rama, he entered into an alliance with Edi Rama. All the actions he does are to maintain the quarrel and strife in the Democratic Party, which ultimately serves Edi Rama. We have publicly stated that every one of the deputies of the Democratic Party who emerged from the elections of April 25, 2021 is welcome. We excluded Lulzim Basha and Enekelejd Alibeaj, because of their actions to the detriment of the interests of the Democratic Party" , added Spaho.
