The head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, declared today that the conflicts within the party risk its dissolution.
While he was invited to a television studio today, he thanked every MP who took part in yesterday's meeting.
Also, he added that he would like MP Lulzim Basha to be part of the meeting.
"We are not children. I do not dictate my opinion to Mr. Basha or anyone else who has a different opinion than mine. We may not even find an agreement between the parties. The DP has been weakened by the conflict, the DP really risks fusion. I am here for offered a solution. I would very much like Basha to be there," said Bardhi.
The deputies of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party decided to unite unconditionally and in front of each other, unifying their parliamentary and political action, after more than two years of clashing with each other.
The invitation of the head of the parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, along with Sali Berisha's deputies, were also answered positively by the leaders of the opposition parties, while the table was boycotted by the legislators who support Lulzim Basha.
Gazment Bardhi, as convener of the meeting, invited his 43 democratic colleagues to come up with a joint parliamentary agenda regarding the opposition's action against the government, which he said should start with the electoral reform.
"The issues that divide us are much less than the issues that unite us. I share the belief with the majority of you that today we unify a position of our opposition action against the misgovernment of Edi Rama, starting with a parliamentary agenda," said Gazment Bardhi.
