Mundësia Party MP Erald Kapri, invited to "Quo Vadis", has ruled out the possibility of Ervin Salianji joining the political formation he belongs to, if he is expelled from the DP.
Kapri said that there have been cases in the past when those who left the DP have requested to join the Opportunity Party, but have been rejected.
Excerpts from the conversation:
Journalist: Do you think that anyone within the DP has the clout to remove Berisha? If Salianji leaves the DP and forms another party, how difficult is it to survive?
Kapri: Our separation with the DP is fundamental. Not simply the belief that that party cannot be reformed, but because it became an obstacle, both against justice and SPAK. Clearly, today we are the only party in favor of SPAK and with unconditional support. We think that any obstacle to SPAK today is truly very worrying. Support for SPAK must be unconditional.
Journalist: You don't see a cooperative relationship, you don't have it conditional only on Mr. Berisha?
Kapri: We do not want to deal with the DP. Also, we do not want to become the opposition of the opposition. We are open to cooperating when a cause has value. We follow the idea of cooperating with a candidate without political membership. We cannot be a refuge for those excluded from the DP.
