The deputy of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, has appreciated the work of SPAK for the investigations for the incinerators as well as for the sterilization concession. Tabaku said that he will not stop denouncing abuses and corruption in the country.
"Here we are talking about individuals who came with their hands in their pockets and had connections with government officials and who have abusively raised an entire state to its feet. There must be legal responsibility, but also politics", said Tabaku.
Regarding the management of EU funds, Tabaku added that there are very serious accusations and that this remains a very serious stain on Albania.
"The stain on the IPARD funds is a stain on Albania and to recover, this is not something easy. I think that the Albanians deserve that the second intergovernmental conference be held. I followed the Prime Minister's statements with sadness as he stated that it is not important now that the process was opened, but we have to run. As for the Berlin Summit for funds, I think it will be a different process, but I hope that the Albanian government has learned that nobody gives you anything and that you have to earn it", said Tabaku .
