The resolution of the Assembly of the Democratic Party, which contains 10 main points from support for the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, to the creation of the Civic Alliance, is clarified.
"It supports the institutions of justice and in particular SPAK in the fight against corruption and organized crime, strongly condemning any attempt to intimidate, restrain or control the institutions of justice in the patriotic mission to end the culture of impunity and guarantee equality before the law for every citizen", the resolution states.
The Albanian institutions, the Central Election Commission and the AMA are also called upon to take measures and put an end to the abuse of the name of the Democratic Party by other actors, in compliance with the Albanian law, the decisions of the Courts and the Code Albanian election.
While it is confirmed that the main political objective of the DP will be the full membership of Albania in the EU.
Resolution of the National Assembly of the Democratic Party
Evaluating the political, economic and social situation that Albania is going through, as well as the current geopolitical developments;
Concerned about mass emigration of Albanians as one of the most alarming phenomena for the future of our country;
Concerned about the monopolization in the hands of a minority of oligarchs and government clients, the criminalization of the Albanian economy and the lack of a strategy for the macroeconomic development of the country, based on the principles of the free market economy and fair competition;
Strictly condemning the deep and ubiquitous corruption at the highest political levels and in the state administration, which is the main cause that impoverishes Albanians more and more;
Noting the clear unfulfilled responsibilities, and the lack of reforms by this government, which has brought delays in the process of Albania's integration into the European Union;
Convinced that the decriminalization of Albanian political life has been and must remain an indisputable national priority;
Determined to maintain and strengthen the alliance with the United States of America, the European Union, and Great Britain as an inalienable, irreplaceable and permanent value, as an essential condition for the development and well-being of Albania and the entire Albanian nation;
It is clear that the separation, balancing and control of powers are the guarantees for a rule of law and consolidation of functional democracy in the country, based on the principle of deepening the decentralization of local self-government;
Congratulating and encouraging the investigations that SPAK has undertaken against high-level politicians for ending impunity and bringing justice to Albanian society;
Believing that the inexhaustible Albanian human capital, of all fields, should find a place within the Democratic Party to release and capitalize on the extraordinary potential that our society has;
Aware that the Democratic Party has a moral obligation still outstanding in these 33 years towards the politically persecuted during the communist regime and its victims;
Appreciating that the Albanian diaspora has played a vital role in 33 years of pluralism in Albania, and that their human capital is invaluable for the development of the country;
Considering that reaching the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, supported by the USA, the EU and the United Kingdom and its recognition by the 5 EU member states, would be an essential contribution to the stability and European future of the entire region ;
1. Konfirmon orientimin euroatlanik të Partisë Demokratike në aleancë me Shtetet e Bashkuara, Bashkimin Europian dhe Britaninë e Madhe. Çdo linjë tjetër gjeopolitike që nuk e shikon të ardhmen e Shqipërisë në integrim të plotë në trupat euroatlantike, është një rrugë e errët për vendin tonë dhe në kundërshtim me interesin kombëtar të shqiptarëve kudo jetojnë.
2. Konfirmon se anëtarësimi i plotë i Shqipërisë në BE, mbetet objektivi kryesor politik i Partisë Demokratike për të realizuar aspiratën e qytetarëve tanë që në gjenezën tonë si forcë politike për Shqipërinë si gjithë Europa.
3. Mbështet institucionet e drejtësisë dhe në veçanti SPAK në luftën kundër korrupsionit dhe krimit të organizuar, duke dënuar me forcë çdo përpjekje për të intimiduar, frenuar apo kontrolluar institucionet e drejtësisë në misionin atdhetar për t’i dhënë fund kulturës së pandëshkueshmërisë dhe për të garantuar barazinë para ligjit për çdo qytetar.
4. Mbështet ngritjen e Aleancës Qytetare për Demokracinë si një trupë gjithëpërfshirëse me të gjithë faktorët e shoqërisë shqiptare ku aderojnë njerëz me kontribute publike, intelektualë, dhe pjesëtarë të shoqërisë civile të cilët kërkojnë një të ardhme më të mirë për Shqipërinë.
5. Mbështet me forcë dekriminalizimin dhe dekomunistizimin e politikës shqiptare dhe nxit drejtuesit, dhe përfaqësuesit e saj në të gjitha nivelet, të ndërmarrin nisma ligjore, të zhvillojnë debate, dhe të mbështesin dekomunistizimin e jetës social-politike shqiptare, si dhe të risin kërkesën për përmirësimin e cilësisë së arsimimit, edukimit dhe kujdesit shëndetësor për qytetarët shqiptarë.
6. Bën thirrje për integrimin politik dhe ekonomik të diasporës shqiptare duke garantuar integrimin e saj në sistemin ekonomik shqiptar dhe realizimin e premtimit shumë vjeçar për votën e emigrantëve.
7. Mbështet pa rezerva avancimin dhe konsolidimin e mëtejshëm të shtetit të Kosovës, integrimin e saj në organizatat ndërkombëtare, në NATO dhe në Bashkimin Europian. Mbështet dialogun e Kosovës me Serbinë me ndërmjetësimin e BE-së dhe SHBA-ës, me synim arritjen e një marrëveshjeje finale me njohjen në qendër. Kërkon vëmendje dhe angazhim më të madh për garantimin e të drejtave të shqiptarëve në Preshevë, Medvegjë dhe Bujanoc dhe ndalimin e spastrimit etnik që po kryhet atje përmes pasivizimit të adresave. Mbështet përpjekjet e vazhdueshme të shqiptarëve dhe përfaqësuesve të tyre në Maqedoninë e Veriut për avancimin e realizimit të të drejtave legjitime të tyre dhe kontributin e jashtëzakonshëm për integrimin e vendit në BE; Mbështet përpjekjet e shqiptarëve në Mal të Zi për të garantuar të drejtat e tyre dhe përshëndet suksesin e arritur prej tyre në zgjedhjet e fundit parlamentare prej subjekteve shqiptare dhe uron që në qeverinë e re të kenë një përfaqësim dinjitoz pasi kështu do të japin një kontribut të shtuar në përpjekjet e Malit të Zi për t’u bërë pjesë e BE-së dhe për të mos devijuar nga kursi pro-perëndimor i vendit.
8. Calls on the Albanian institutions, the Central Election Commission, the AMA and the Albanian media, to take measures and put an end to the abuse of the use of the name of the Democratic Party by other actors, in respect of the Albanian law, the decisions of Courts and the Albanian Electoral Code.
9. Expresses the commitment of the PD and its political representatives, that it will continue to fight to further deepen the Electoral Reform, convinced that without guaranteeing the free vote of citizens, democracy will remain an unrealized dream for Albanians.
10. Calls on members, sympathizers and Albanian citizens to support and unite around the best values of the Democratic Party of Albania to separate once and for all from the corrupt past, to build a future together European for all Albanians.
