After the ballot boxes closed, the counting of votes has begun in some of the DP branches for the primaries. In Tirana, the process has not yet begun, as the ballot boxes are being collected. In the capital, approximately 13,000 Democrats voted.
There were problems in Saranda. The opening of the Konispol ballot box resulted in numerous irregularities, as 20 more ballots were found in this box than the number of people who signed the list.
Specifically: out of 176 people who voted, 196 ballots were found in the box. A decision has not yet been made on how to process this ballot box, reports journalist Limos Didani.
Meanwhile, the counting of votes in the DP primaries in Këlcyrë and Përmet, for the Gjirokastra district, has been completed. Bajram Hysaj is currently ranked first with 270 votes, while Arben Ristani is second with 95 votes.
