The process of counting votes in the primaries has begun in many DP branches.
Democratic leaders have stated that there were a high number of DP members throughout Albania who voted in the Primary.
According to information so far, the participation in the elections was as follows:
In Vlora, out of 2,300 members with voting rights, 867 members voted.
In Selenica, out of 500 members with the right to vote, 268 voted.
Out of 470 members with voting rights, 197 voted.
At the district level, out of 3270 members with voting rights, 1330 voted.
In Saranda, 699 voters out of 1,300 on the list participated. After about 1 hour of waiting for the boxes from the Delvinë, Finiq and Konispol centers, the counting will begin here in Saranda.
Finiq: 130 voters
Delvina: 250 voters
Konispol: 176 voters.
In the Korça district, what is impressive in this voting process, unlike previous processes, is the high percentage of voters, out of 8,754 members, over 5,100 received voting rights.
The high number of participants in the voting, according to the District Director Ivi Kaso, was also due to the high number of candidates.
The Primary process for the selection of candidates for deputies of the Democratic Party of Fier District was closed 1 hour and 20 minutes after the official opening time. The political leader of the District, Gazmend Bardhi, praised the orderly process, without any incidents, and at the same time thanked the candidates in the race and the members of the commission.
