A day before the protest, Berisha sent a message to the citizens: Civil

The President of the DP, Sali Berisha, gave a message to the citizens a day before the protest as he declared that civil disobedience is the only answer that the Albanian opposition has left to Edi Rama's narco-state.

Berisha says that civil disobedience will start tomorrow and there will be no turning back until the establishment of the technical government.

In a statement to the media, the former prime minister said that civil disobedience does not start out of nowhere, but it has been warned for 3 years.

The head of the Democratic Party said that in 7 protests that took place, they asked for their voice to be heard, but as an answer they only received political imprisonment and denial of rights.

"In these last hours, I want to address you this message. Tomorrow in Albania, civil disobedience begins, without return, until the installation of the technical government. On the eve of this historic event, I want to give some final clarifications to every Albanian citizen and address my appeal to all Albanians. This civil disobedience does not come as a bolt from the blue. This civil disobedience has been requested and warned for at least 3 years. Therefore, friends, Albanians should know that civil disobedience against the narco-state starts tomorrow. Against the mafia, and against the head of organized crime, Edi Rama.

This civil disobedience, on October 7, is the start of the last chapter of this 11-year black history of Albania's history. A history that will leave behind the most destructive destructions of the foundations on which Albania and Albanianness are held. This civil disobedience, tomorrow, comes as the only answer that the Albanian opposition, Albania's last hope, has left to the narco-state of Edi Rama, based on crime, drugs, theft and the deportation of Albanians. It's our turn!", declared Berisha.
