The deputy of the Democratic Party, Ervin Salianji, commenting on the latest developments in the Democratic Party and the changes in the statute made by Basha, said that it is impossible for the minority to impose on the majority.
In an interview for "Euronews Albania", he emphasized that it is already clear which group has the majority within the right and emphasized that Lulzim Basha and his group may have different positions in relation to the rest, but they cannot to be imposed on them since they are in the minority.
" The parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, like every parliamentary group, like every deputy in essence, cannot have positions that are imposed by the party, therefore it is the representative of the people in the end and not the representative of the party. In the party institutions there is a different discussion and a different type of decision-making, it is clear that the parliamentary groups function on the basis of their regulations, but the basis is the hierarchy of norms and the regulation of the Assembly and this is a discussed issue. What is to be reiterated is that someone who is clearly in the minority in public and in a group that the group may have other positions cannot say that I am the majority and I will impose myself and I am the opposition in this country ", said Salianji.
