Basha dismisses Bardhi, proposes Enkelejd Alibeaj as General Secretary of the DP! The names of the 4 new vice-presidents are cleared

The President of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha convened the National Council today where he dismissed the Secretary General, Gazment Bardhi. 

As it was announced earlier, instead of Bardhi, Enkelejd Alibeaj has been proposed as General Secretary.

In the meantime, the names proposed to lead the PD structures have been made public.

Enkelejd Alibeaj will replace Gazmend Bardhi in the post of General Secretary of the DP.

Xhemal Bushati is proposed for the chairman of the National Council, former DP candidate in the race for Shkodra in last year's partial elections.

The head of the DP said that within the year the DP will have a reorganized structure.

Basha promises that in two months the structures of the DP will take shape, while he made a mea culpa for the fact that the DP does not come up with a candidate in the Kukës elections. 

"Through the spirit of the team, it is harmonizing everyone's ambitions to advance the mission that the democrats have entrusted to us.

The organization of the party and the democrats should be the voice of the citizens.

Within two months, the structure of the district branches will come to life according to the status of the DP approved on September 2, 2023. The goal is to give the Democrats a renewed structure by the end of the year and to return to the alternative. And on March 31, we will have almost 140 deputies to enter the elections at any time", said Basha.
