Socialist Party MP Erion Braçe has accused KAS of invalidating his votes. Braçe says his votes are clean and clearly show the will of the voter to vote for the SP and his name.
In a Facebook post, Braçe published photos of some of his votes that KAS declared invalid, writing that this is a shame.
Braçe says that he neither took votes from anyone nor stole them. He emphasizes that he does not know whose mandate KAS is asking to be taken away, but this is a shame.
"Tirana/5, what a shame of the recount! These are SP votes and mine – look; they are being declared invalid! All evaluated during the counting by the CEAZ, based on a CEC manual, which is now nowhere to be found! I do not owe anyone this kind of filth, accompanied by the note "more votes" and the implication "stolen"!
"These are clean votes that KAS is invalidating! I have neither taken them from anyone, nor have I stolen them from anyone! This is a vote where the will of the voter has been clearly expressed! I don't know what their plan is, who KAS is trying to take these votes from, so who will they take their mandate from, but it's a shame," Braçe writes.
We recall that regarding this process that Braçe denounces, the PS had addressed the KAS with a request requesting that those votes for candidates where the 'x' or '+' was placed outside the candidate's box be counted as valid, but the request was rejected.
