The former Minister of Defense and at the same time the chairman of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu, has commented on the informal meeting between the head of the PD group, Gazment Bardhi and Flamur Nokës for a possible reunion of the Democratic Party.
He stated that there is an attempt to undo oppositionism, while he added that the opposition must surpass the framework of the leadership.
"The meeting was informal and we invited some political representatives. In conclusion, we must agree on who are the ideas that unite us, especially when trying to undo oppositionism. The opposition must understand that the interests of the Albanians must be at the fore. The opposition should be expanded with the voices and authorities of the diaspora, to unite the Albanians.
