The candidate for MP from the "Right for Development" coalition, Enkelejd Alibeaj, who failed to receive a mandate, securing only 306 votes in the new party, said that he leaves the Assembly with his head held high.
He stated that those who will be in the Assembly are the marketers, while emphasizing that in the elections of May 11, Albanians have lost. Alibeja also said that he will no longer be part of active politics.
"It's not the first time, I left once in 2013, with my head held high. Once again in 2019 with my head down. What matters is how it turns out, I leave with my head held high. Those who stayed here are the marketers. That's how they cooked it, they cooked it together. They achieved their goal. Rama won, Berisha won, the Albanians lost. The next prey is justice.
"The ways of God are endless. I did not come anonymously and I will not leave anonymously. I will not be in active politics all my life, in public politics if you accept me, why not," Alibeaj said before the Assembly.
