A few minutes before the start of the 20th protest against the government, Prime Minister Edi Rama hurriedly left the Prime Minister's Office building in his official vehicle.
The moment was filmed by citizens present in the area, while in the background, ironic shouts from several protesters can be heard, commenting on the departure of the head of government as he gets into the car and leaves the building.
The event comes at a time when numerous citizens have gathered in Skanderbeg Square to begin a march towards the Prime Minister's Office, as part of the next protest demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Today's protest is the 20th in a series and follows several days of citizen mobilization in Tirana and other cities across the country. Organizers have stated that they will continue their action until their demands are met.
Meanwhile, during the rally, it was announced that a national protest is expected to take place tomorrow, with the participation of citizens from different areas of Albania.
