Parliament approved the establishment of Investigative Commissions; who are the

Yesterday evening, the Assembly approved the establishment of two Investigative Commissions, requested by the opposition, but it was noticed from the votes that two MPs of the SP did not agree on the approval and abstained.

The Commission of Inquiry on the Public Sterilization Service and the Public Health Check-Up Service was approved with 95 votes in favor and one abstention.

Socialist MP Erjon Brace abstained. There was no opposition, while 41 deputies present did not vote.

The Investigative Commission for the Handling of TIMS System Data was approved with 96 votes in favor and 1 abstention.

Socialist MP Petro Koçi abstained. There was no objection while 40 deputies present did not vote.

Yesterday's session started at 10:00 in the morning and ended around 22:00 in the evening. For the first time after 5 months, the MPs of Berisha and Bardhi returned to the session smiling without whistles, noise or flamboyance. But the "peace" between the Reestablishment SP added fuel to the fire in the other democratic camp. The head of the official DP, Lulzim Basha, accused that behind the agreement "there was a silent bargain for the electoral reform and to get stuck behind the chairs". At one point, Basha occupied the pulpit and the speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, expelled him.

An investigation is commissioned

According to the agreement, the two investigative commissions requested by Bardhi and Berisha MPs received the votes of the SP majority. Thus the Investigative Commission for the Public Sterilization Service and the Public Health Check-Up Service was voted with 95 votes in favor, 1 abstention and none against. Socialist deputy Erjon Braçe abstained like 41 other deputies: even though they were present, they did not vote. On the other hand, the Investigative Commission for the Data Handling of the TIMS System received 96 votes in favor and none against. Socialist MP Petro Koçi abstained together with 40 other MPs even though they were present they did not vote.
