The leadership of the Democratic Party has decided to hold the next national protest against the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama on January 24th.
The decision was made today during today's meeting.
At the DP leadership meeting, Berisha declared that continued protests are the only way to remove the Rama government, while other options, according to him, are illusory.
He called on citizens to rise up against him.
"If we believe that Edi Rama will be taken away by his files and crimes, we are mistaken, and we should not be mistaken. Edi Rama will misuse all his power to protect himself. If we expect him to be held accountable by justice, let's say the US, which has full motive, whether with the Bilal file or the McGonigal file, again we are not realistic, since this process and this problem is complicated, it is not a simple problem. But those who should be held accountable for Edi Rama should be Albanian citizens. I think that the developments are positive on the opposition side. There are seven resolutions that stigmatize Edi Rama just like Maduro. You remember, in San Paolo, the first item on the agenda was Venezuela, the second item was Albania, for the similarities that Maduro has with Ramaduro. I am convinced that our partners, everywhere, from these developments, will reach the right conclusions about the great danger that Edi Rama poses in power," the democratic leader continued, " said Berisha.
