Rama reacted to the controversy caused by the interview in the Financial Times, denying that the published statement was directed at Albanians.
Prime Minister Rama has reacted to the controversy caused by his interview with the "Financial Times". He stated that anyone who calls him "the godfather of Albania" would respond with the phrase "Fuck you".
In a video posted on social media, Rama denied that this statement was directed at Albanians. He emphasized that the statement was a response to people who have accused him over the years and not to citizens.
"I have never said that word to Albanians. The journalist asked me how you respond to those who accuse you of being the godfather of Albania. I told him the word that anyone who has been accusing me for years and has not left two stones together to smear and bury me deserves. From an hour of free conversation, the journalist chose exactly that part ," he said.
The head of government claimed that the interview does not reflect the entire conversation and that only the fragment that has sparked public debate has been highlighted.
Rama also commented on the protest that has been taking place in front of the Prime Minister's Office for weeks. According to him, the protest has been influenced by groups that do not represent citizens and that he will later try to address the concerns of those protesting.
"Once the great evil with many heads that has seized the protest by the throat has been neutralized, I will turn to the significant mass of people and tell them what I have understood from all this need of theirs to protest and how I think we should address those things that, internally, sincerely call people towards protest, towards the need to be heard, towards admiration for those who protest on their behalf," Rama said.
Rama's statements come after the interview published by the 'Financial Times' caused numerous reactions in public and political opinion.

Per 14 vjet ne super pushtet si k/m dhe 12 vjet si k/bashkiak nuk te mjaftuan per te kuptuar e adresuar hallet e miletit dhe u kujtove tani qe tu shtrengua vrima e bythes qe te kujtohesh t’i adresosh ????!!!!! Nuk e ha me njeri gjellen bajate qe servir ti sa here te shtrengohet ajo. Nuk genjehet me njeri nga fasadat e tua te dala boje. Dhe di pse… Sepse prej kohesh te gjithe ( pervec rilindasve te tu) e kane kuptuar se ti je kreu i gjithcka te ndyre e te poshter ne kete te shkrete vend!
Ky kujton se i drblon shqiptartë sa sic do vet ky. Ky, njësoj si Enveri, nuk do te mund te ishte i tille po te mos kishte sherbetor te devotshëm. Me dallim nga Enveri, Ky ka afruar rreth vehtes njerz te ko.promituar kombëtaresh dhe njerz qe nuk e duojne shqiptarinë. Prandaj ndihet i fuqishëm Ky. Njësoj bënte UDBja ne Kosove. Ata mbanin ne majat e pushtetit ne te Kosoves "shqiptar te ndershem"(postoni albanac) te cilit e ndihmonin UDBne qe te mbante te nënshtruar shqiptaret e Kosoves dhe Kosoven. Shikoni me kujdes se cilat jane njerzit afer Rames. Jane filogrek hajdut e kriminel. Prandaj ska kush e kundërshton "kalanë nga brenda". Ne krye te Praëamentit kishte vendosur Lindita Nikolen burri i se cilës esgte i njohur per idetë sëlavomaqedone antishqiptare...Ballukun aragte e Greqise,....Niko Pelleshin arkat i greqise,..ministrja e shendetesise qe jep tenderi barnae e shërbimeve shendetesore grekeve antishqiptar...
Qenka bere ujku qingj. E ndoqa, ben si i qete dhe si gjithmone merr rolin e vijtimes. Dmth vazhdojne ti bien ne qafe se ai eshte i kulluar. O zoteri je i diskredituar i konsumuar. Mjaft me me keto skema. U lodhen njerezit me demagogjine tende. Ti ke bere kontrate po jo me popullin por me pojat celat doklet gjithe grupet kriminale brenda dhe jashte vendit. Ti me mire se kushdo e di shume mire qe nuk perfaqeson ato shifra qe propogandon. Sot me sondazhe je personi me i urryer nga shqiptaret. Vazhdon krenohesh me Sara milen and co. Te ka dale vjedhja jashte kontrollit. sa me shume konsumohesh dhe demaskohesh me shume vota merr. Ik sa nuk eshte vone. Perballu me drejtesine dhe paguaj per demet e pallogaritshme qe i ke bere ketij vendi. Mbetesh i deshtuar kaotike , i zhytur ne psikopatine dhe skizofrenine tende. Tu dha nje mundesi e arte, por e shfrytezove vetem te Pasurohesh. I nejme thirrje SPAK te filtroj kush jane pronaret real te Aeroportit te Rinasit, imSheratonit, jett bank, Abi Bank, Porto romanos etj etj.
Nese doni te ndërroni sistemin korruptim dhe antikombëtar te Shqiperise aktuale, duhet te demaskoni pa mëshire te gjithe ata qe i shërbejnë me kaq devotshmëri Rames, rrethin e tij te afërm politik e administrativ.
Po kujt ja the o tqr dhe gruan. Kujt ja the vetes tend o skizofren. Zhduku sa me pare, mos te vijme te te marrim zvarre me te pjell e te mbjelle.

Qenka rrot jari ky! Cfare e di popullin ky kalama, që ta genjeje diten për diell? Ky flet percart apo ben si i tredhur ng trute. Të gjithë ketyre shtetit të gje det menyra tu bllokohen veprimet ne shkaterrimin e dokumentave e kontratave të qelbura që skllaverojne shtetin Shqiptar.
