
After the Summit held today in Tirana for Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to head to Rinas and leave Albania.
Leaders of the Western Balkans also participated in the summit organized today, where the emphasis of the meeting was the continuation of military and financial aid to Ukraine, while it was warned about the danger posed to the Western Balkans by Russia.
The summit ended with a joint statement signed by the 8 participating leaders, which emphasized that Russia's military aggression against Ukraine remains "the biggest threat to European security and international peace".
After the summit, at the joint press conference, Zelensky warned the countries of the Western Balkans that Russia will do everything to destabilize the situation.
Ukrainian President Zelensky has visited Albania for the first time, arriving in the capital late on Tuesday evening. He was received at Rinas airport by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani.
