Two new MPs were sworn in at today's plenary session, officially assuming their legislative mandates.
We are talking about MPs Besnik Brahimi and Shkurt Lasku, who will represent the Social Democratic Party, which in the May 11 elections managed to get 3 MPs, two in the Shkodra District and 1 in Tirana.
Brahimi and Lasku enter the Assembly as the most voted candidates from the PSD lists after the resignation of Tom Doshi and Sabina Jorgo.
Doshi and Jorgo handed over their parliamentary mandates in the first session of the new Parliament, resulting from the May 11 elections.
After they handed in their mandates, the procedure for their replacement began, while the PSD list in the Shkodra district showed that the two most voted were Brahimi and Lasku.
