Sali Berisha has confirmed that he will enter the Kukës local elections with his own candidate, refusing to join the DP of Basha.
On Sunday, the primaries will be held to choose the candidate, while there are 6 names in the race. It is noticeable that Basha's candidate, Arif Rexhmati, has been removed from the list. Berisha included this in the primary list, but he ran as a candidate with Basha and refused the pulpit.
Dear members of the Democratic Party! We inform you that on 27.08.2023 the process of primaries will take place with the principle of one member, one vote, for the selection of the candidate who will represent the Democratic Party and the opposition forces in the elections of September 24, 2023.
The voting center will be at the Palace of Culture "Hasan Prishtina" Kukës, second floor. The voting process starts at 08:00 and ends at 18:00
