The rally lasted about two hours, with incidents in several areas and clashes with the police.
The Democratic Party held its sixth national protest in Tirana today, where supporters initially gathered in front of the Prime Minister's Office, before the rally turned into a march on some of the capital's main axes, paralyzing traffic for several hours.
The protest officially began at around 6:50 PM and ended at around 8:50 PM, lasting approximately two hours, during which the situation was characterized by continuous crowd movements and clashes with police forces.
After gathering in front of the Prime Minister's Office, the protesters moved towards the Ministry of Interior, then towards the headquarters of the Socialist Party, continuing the march in the area of the former Blloku, "Willson" Square, near the RTSH and further on Elbasani Street, before ending at the headquarters of the Democratic Party.
During the movement of the crowd, the police did not allow passage towards the Parliament, setting up security cordons and intervening in several cases to stop the advance of the protesters.
The protest was accompanied by tensions and incidents at some of the points where the crowd passed. At some points, fireworks and Molotov cocktails were thrown, while the police reacted by using tear gas and water cannons to disperse the protesters.
One of the most watched episodes was the one related to the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, who during the protest left the crowd and headed to his apartment, where he remained surrounded by bodyguards and supporters, amid suspicions that he was not feeling well after being exposed to tear gas.
Tensions were also noted on Elbasan Street, where there were clashes between police forces and Democratic Party deputies, who attempted to move towards other areas, but were stopped by the officers. Berisha then headed towards the DP headquarters, thus marking the end of the march.

Rama po shkatërron administratën brenda zyrave te shtetit. Berisha po shkatërron ne rruge shpresen e njerëzve per ndryshim. A kane shqiptaret aftësi te bashkojnë forcat e e tyre kunder ketyre shkatërruese?!
