Protesters clashed with police forces after attempting to break through the security cordon and march towards the Parliament. The police intervention has brought further tensions on the ground.
Police intervened to disperse the protesters using tear gas and water cannons in an attempt to bring the situation under control.
Then, during the tensions on the ground, Democratic Party MPs, Luciano Boçi and Flamur Noka, were involved in a verbal and physical conflict with the police.
In harsh tones, democrat Flamur Noka has exploded with accusations against the police. He said that the police received written orders to attack Sali Berisha with spray in the eyes.
After the clash, the "Eagle" forces left the area, while the situation remained tense and evolving.
