In the meeting of the group, it seems that Gazment Bardhi's proposal that the reorganization should start from the sections and branches, as well as leave more space for other negotiations with PD e Reestablishment, has found agreement.
After the parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi presented the platform to the branch heads, who oppose the restructuring formula proposed by the deputies.
It is learned that the heads of the branches have requested that the elections for the new chairman of the Democratic Party be held as soon as possible and that the process not be delayed.
The DP's college of presidents proposed yesterday that the new leader be elected by July 15. During yesterday's meeting, the heads of DP branches opposed the platform proposed by the parliamentary group for the reorganization of the party. According to them, this takes time and requested that the new mayor be elected within July 15.
Bardhi also did not deny the possible re-candidacy of Lulzim Basha for DP chairman.
"Regarding candidacies, comebacks, as long as there is no position regarding this issue, I cannot speak in advance", stated Bardhi. Today at 17:00, the official DP will convene the Presidency, which will be familiar with the position of the parliamentary group and decide whether the three steps proposed for the reorganization of the party should be implemented.
