Speaker of Parliament Niko Peleshi closed the Assembly session after about an hour of tension and chaos in the hall.
Today, the Parliament turned into an arena of chaos and tension, where opposition MPs stormed the podium and some of them blocked the ministers' chairs.
Today's session was accompanied by physical clashes between Democrats and the Republican Guard, while flares were lit in the hall. Democrats also threw water and empty plastic bottles in Peles' direction, while there was no shortage of accusations directed at the Rama government.
Meanwhile, after the two exclusions, that of Noka and Balliu, the agenda was voted without discussion, but in the presence of strong debates. Amidst tensions, Endri Shabani was sworn in as the People's Advocate, and as he left the hall, he greeted the Democratic MPs with a kiss.
After an hour of tension, Peleshi closed the plenary session. As soon as Peleshi declared the session closed, the opposition MPs ironically added: bravo Dubai!
