Murrizi then turned to Flamur Noka, accusing the latter of having influenced the lists of political leaders formulated by Berisha.
Former MP Myslym Murrizi, MPs Edi Paloka and Flamur Noka were involved in a debate at the meeting of the Council of the Democratic Party, which took place behind closed doors regarding the names of district leaders. In harsh tones, Myslym Murrizi described as immoral the union with the returnees from Basha.
He addresses Flamur Noka saying that "you influenced Berisha regarding the lists of political leaders". While the latter denied it, stating that the head of the DP is not influenced by anyone.
"Berisha made the lists of political leaders, but it was you Flamur who blew their ears", he said, while adding that the democrats cannot be motivated when figures like Tabaku or Gjekmarkaj said that "Berisha died politically" or that " they will jump from the balcony when Berisha came".
On the other hand, Edi Paloka responded by emphasizing that their goal was to enable a technical government and that no one had taken away their right to speak. He stressed that despite the divisions, there was still an opportunity to work together to achieve the party's goals.
Murrizi also demanded an account of why two of the main counties in the country, such as Lezha and Fieri, were entrusted to Gjekmarka and Bardhi, since the latter have launched a barrage of accusations towards Sali Berisha.
The debate between them:
Murrizi: You will be upset by what I am going to say, but I have a problem. It's a mistake that you took the media out (to Paloka). Berisha said "attack" but we have the coach in red. What can we do to attack with defenders? Who among you has knees? Berisha made the lists of political leaders, but it was you Flamur who blew his ears. We have seen the list of district leaders in the media. Agron Gjekmarkaj said he would jump from the balcony when Berisha came. Jorida Tabaku said Berisha died politically. How can Democrats be motivated? We started the pulpit so that votes count. But Bardhi and Gjekmarkaj were not elected. They came as united in diversity and became our saboteurs. They come to vote. Ask Bardhi why you mentioned Berisha's name as a member of the Parliamentary Group. Bardhi says it is not true, it was sent in May. Why should political leaders not be voted for? Will you climb in circles? We must be honest with the membership. If Berisha will be arrested, forget that we will stick to the citizens. Half of those who will get the mandates will exclude you too, addresses Flagur. How do we enter technical government? You did shopping with Rama, explain it to us. PD must open, we suffered because we did not speak, everyone must speak.
Paloka: Our goal is to enable technical government. No one has taken away your right to speak.
Noka: DP is based on the internal debate. Debate is healthy and necessary. We are in democracy, but not in chaos. Every Democrat everywhere has a right to speak and we will listen. Posts on social networks against DP figures are propaganda. The political leaders are subordinates of the President of the Democratic Party. I or you Muslim can blow them, but Sali Berisha is not affected. We are entering a battle. Do we have defects and flaws, because we are human. We have been in the internal war for 3 years, but today we are all together. We are in democracy, but not in anarchy, which means respect for the charter, our Constitution and Party institutions. We are entering a battle with no return and no stopping. So let's stop any attack on each other. Gjekmarkaj, as vice-president of the DP, articulates in every international institution the request for the release of our leader. Only united we move towards victory.
Also, there was a clash between the journalist Osman Stafa and the General Secretary of the DP, Flamur Noka.
The journalist asked the leaders of the districts: "Will you accept the challenge to be listed at the bottom of the list?", while Noka answered by explaining that the list of district leaders is an exclusive competence of the President of the DP. He emphasized that Article 46, point 2 of the party statute allows the President to set up auxiliary teams to assist in this process.
Noka also responded to a member's question regarding Alizot's departure from Berat's political leadership, saying that this was in accordance with Alizot's request to move to Tirana.
The Chairman of the National Council, Edi Paloka, responded to Staff's comment by emphasizing that if Edi Rama steals the elections, there will be no more articulations from his side on this issue, but he emphasized that the responsibility for the results of the elections is the party's and that they they should not enter elections to win a mandate, but to fight for a greater cause.
He described this battle as a "life or death battle" and emphasized that the internal division should not be seen as a personal challenge, but as an opportunity to join forces and overthrow Rama. Paloka underlined the importance of the campaign as a "war" in the figurative sense, demanding a strong and unwavering commitment from all party members.
We remind you that the Council of the Democratic Party met this afternoon. The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, kept his word and was optimistic, saying that this is the last September of the opposition.
Berisha ended his speech without declaring a date for the start of the protests. He demanded maximum commitment from the party structures, door-to-door meetings with citizens and preparations for the final action towards the 2025 elections.
