Clashes in the Parliament, Bardhi criticizes Pelesh: Balla should be thrown out,
Today's session in the Parliament

The plenary session continues to be tense in the Assembly even after the break following the clash between MPs Elda Hoti and Taulant Balla.

The head of the DP group, Gazment Bardhi, accused Taulant Balla of not only mocking the blood of the martyrs of April 2 in Shkodra by requesting a minute of silence with 10 deputies in the hall, but also insulting and threatening the opposition female deputies.

Bardhi also accused Pelesh of violating procedures and leading the session into a physical confrontation.

"Because of your violation of the rules, you are leading the Assembly into a physical conflict. Taking the floor away from your colleagues and giving it to someone else only leads the Assembly into physical clashes. You are making coexistence in the Assembly impossible. The leader of the SP group stood up and insulted the families of the 4 martyrs of democracy, killed in Shkodra, killed by the former secretary general of your party Gramoz Ruçi, he comes and mocks here. In the hall, there are 10 deputies, he says to keep 1 minute of silence, what did you do to mock him? A time is set when the silence is kept, if you don't have to mock him. There is a regulation for the minute of silence and procedure," accused Bardhi.

He also accused Balla of constantly insulting and threatening opposition MPs.

"He repeatedly stands up, threatens and insults opposition women. Do you have coexistence in parliament, you provoke and insult at every moment. So for the session to continue normally, the chairman of the SP group will have to go outside, so that the session can continue normally," the opposition legislator continued.

Bardhi also asked the Socialist deputies not to laugh in the hall after a slip of his tongue.

"I see the ladies of the majority getting angry, there is no need to get angry repeatedly, once on the podium, once loudly and once silently. We have never insulted you, nor offended you, nor threatened you. Instead of condemning it, you get angry," he said.

Peleshi reacted and explained that he had not allowed the minute of silence to be held because he agreed with the DP's complaint that there was a procedure and regulation, but he called for calm between the two political camps and the continuation of the normal session in the Assembly.

"You are right, I agree, Mr. Bardhi, I did not allow the solemn silence. Tell us when you want, let us schedule and hold the next session...", said Peleshi, among other things.
