The spokeswoman for Anticorruption of Reestablishment, Genta Vangjeli, has denounced the high expenses of the Municipality of Tirana this time.
She raised the question why Erion Veliaj is untouchable by SPAK.

The Municipality of Tirana from January 6 to November 14, 2023, has spent a total of 277.9 billion ALL. From these:
-Tender 160 billion ALL
-Economic aid 2.3 billion ALL
-Disability payment 20 billion ALL
-Housing bonus 7 billion ALL
-Expenses for execution of court decisions and dismissals 1.3 billion ALL
- Costs of cleaning and greening the city 14.4 billion ALL
- Lease of premises 1.6 billion ALL
-Liquidation of commissioners KZAZ 283 million ALL
- Subsidies for price difference for urban bus transport 1.9 billion ALL for 11 operators
-23 payments for the Tirana incinerator worth 8.4 billion ALL
-279 payments for various projects in the amount of ALL 9.1 billion
The difference is salary expenses, maintenance, royalties, reception-transportation, travel and operating expenses...
Regarding the above, the following are noted:
1. Tenders where there are certainly no shortage of repeated winners for various procedures with clientelistic operators previously denounced by PD as the company with the former owner of the Director of ARRSH and others related to the company of the brother of the socialist deputy Qefalia, the company of the Director of MIE Hasalami, the company of the brother of the current mayor of Mati, etc.
2. The opposition's denunciations that the Municipality of Tirana concentrates public funds towards certain companies in the development of procurement procedures are confirmed by the KLSH report on the audit carried out for Tirana Parking.
3. Expenditures for execution of court decisions and dismissals which cost Albanians 1.3 billion ALL.
4. Payment for various projects in the amount of 9.1 billion lek in favor of various centers/associations or other entities which, contrary to the Albanian legislation in force and the transparency program for the Ministry of Finance and Economy and subordinate structures, have no published the beneficiary of the money but only the names of the second tier banks where the beneficiaries have their accounts.
5. Until October 26, payments continued for the non-existent incinerator.
6. The opposition's denunciations of the concreting of Tirana and the fraud with the statements about the planting of 1 million trees in Tirana are supported by the High Control of the State in the "Performance Report of 2022".
7. Unparalleled nepotism near the municipality of Tirana, starting from the vice-president to directors of directorates and sector managers or even advisers
8. Payments of private subjects from the Municipality of Tirana, related to employees of this municipality as previously denounced cases or other subjects who are paid for marathons in Tirana and are also owned by the wife of the former vice president during the time that the latter held this task.
The Democratic Party, following the denunciations based on facts and the inviolability of Erion Veliaj, has several public questions for SPAK:
What is being done with the investigations related to the opposition's denunciations of manipulation of the May 14 elections in Tirana?
What about the paving of roads with action during the campaign by the Municipality of Tirana itself and while procurement procedures were being developed for the same, such as the case of the Xhon Belushi road, officially announced.
What about the involvement of the municipality's administration in the campaign and voter trafficking with voice and figure denounced by the investigative show 'Piranjat'?
What about the billions that continue to be paid for the non-existent incinerator?
