The second reason for the loss is the negative record of the Biden-Harris administration. A negative weight, which weighed heavily on her electoral campaign. What's worse, Harris made the problem worse during an interview with ABC television.
Presenter Sunny Hostin asked him: "Would you have done anything differently than President Biden during the last 4 years?". The answer seemed very nervous: "I can't think of anything else!". Not surprisingly, Trump's staff used this response on social media, accusing Trump's rival of identifying herself with the current administration.
The third reason has to do with the same problem that ended the presidential campaign of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis: It's a very difficult battle to run against a "cult of personality" that has Donald Trump at his advantage. Like it or not, admit it or not, Trump has this extra factor with him.
