The police officers started this Friday by carrying out a check in the apartment of Sali Berisha, to make the relevant findings on how the security measure is being implemented.
The check comes a few days after the former prime minister goes out to the balcony every evening and through a microphone greets the democrats who gather below the palace where he is under house arrest.
But at the moment when the officers went up to his apartment, Sali Berisha made a post on social networks. "Good morning friends, the change has begun!" writes Berisha, accompanying the post with a video from yesterday afternoon's rally.
Interior Minister Taulant Balla described yesterday Berisha's exits to the balcony as unacceptable and asked the State Police to treat the former prime minister like any other citizen of the Republic of Albania.
