The routine check is done to verify if the former prime minister respects the security measure of "House Arrest", given by the Special Court Against Organized Crime and Corruption.

We remind you that GJKKO set the security measure "Arrest with prison" at noon on Saturday, December 30, with police supervision, where he is only allowed to communicate with his family members.
According to the announcement of GJKKO, Sali Berisha should not leave his apartment located at the address: "Mustafa Matohiti" Street, and should not communicate with other people except those who live in the same apartment with him.
The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, represented by prosecutors Arben Kraja and Enkeleda Millonai, has been charged with the execution of this decision.
Berisha's lawyers stated that the decision was taken in violation of the law.
