Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting with Socialist Party supporters in the coastal city of Durrës, as part of the electoral campaign for the May 11 parliamentary elections.
In addition to the promise of a European passport, Rama reiterated the permanent promise of 24-hour water. The Prime Minister vowed that this problem will end in this region during his fourth mandate.
"When we took office for the third term, I said we would support Durrës, and if you look at the numbers, that's what really happened."
Durrës is one of the cities that has had a problem with drinking water, historically. It has always had it on schedule, with problems, with areas without water at all and today we are in the Municipality of Durrës at the best level of water supply. We have areas with 24-hour water and with the new investment that we will make, we will conclude this problem in the fourth mandate. Durrës will no longer have a problem with drinking water at all" , said Rama.
