The American Democratic Party's chief strategist, Chris LaCivita, emphasized the importance of a modern campaign focused on direct communication with voters, during a conversation with the youth of the FRPD.
LaCivita, during his speech, told the young people that the policies of the last 12 years have made the future and opportunities in Albania very difficult.
He added that this entire campaign is about the most important issue: the economy and the future. He appealed to the young people as he told them that you guys have it in your hands to change the future and the direction of this country. But you can't do it if you don't stand up.
"Good morning! Thank you for your invitation! It's a beautiful day!"
I think it is extremely important that in politics, whether in the United States or here in Albania, young people and young voters get involved and take control of the fate of their government, because the future is you.
I think the policies of the last 12 years have made the future and opportunities for young people very difficult. But many of the policies that Dr. Berisha is bringing are aimed precisely at enabling you to stay here, find opportunities, succeed, and help build the country.
So it's very important, and you know it. It's essential for the campaign to deliver messages where the voters are. Most of you don't get your information from traditional sources, like the classic media. You get your information through social media, through the internet and different platforms. So, it's very important that we communicate with all of you.
But it is equally important that you get involved, express your opinion, and make sure your friends and family get out and vote.
This whole campaign is about the most important issue: the economy and the future. And you guys, you have the power to change the future and the direction of this country. But you can't do that if you don't stand up.
"There's an old saying in America: 'The world is run by those who stand up.' And it's very, very important that you participate and make your voice heard. Thank you," LaCivita said.
