The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, declared that the opposition has a clear political strategy, which is the battle until Prime Minister Edi Rama leaves power.
In a statement to the media, Berisha focused on the announced protest of February 10 and the reasons that, according to him, make the civic reaction necessary.
"The DP's strategy is a battle until Rama's downfall. He has no legitimacy ," Berisha said.
He emphasized that protests do not arise without reason and that citizens have concrete motives for coming out against the government.
"We are very grateful because a citizen who is angry with the government of his country must have strong motives. Therefore, citizens have motives," said the chief democrat.
Berisha accused the government of lack of legitimacy, election manipulation and corruption.
"The government has no legitimacy, it has turned the elections into a farce, it has stolen hundreds of millions of euros, it does not want justice. Albanians are determined," declared Berisha.
