Salianji ironically criticizes Berisha: You drive around on the boulevard, Rama

Former Democratic Party MP, Ervin Salianji, has reacted to today's opposition protest, expressing criticism of the way it was organized and its results.

He ironically said that despite promises to overthrow Prime Minister Rama, the protest was reduced to a march on the boulevard, without achieving the political objective.

Salianji emphasizes that such actions not only do not bring change, but according to him, contribute to strengthening the government's positions.

"As always, the leadership promised to overthrow Rama, but they only produced a parade on the boulevard. So not only is Edi Rama not overthrown, but he is actually being kept on his feet," he says.

In his reaction, Salianji underlines that the responsibility for corruption falls on the government and not on citizens or businesses.

"Rama is to blame for corruption, not the citizens, businesses, and streets of Tirana!" declares the former MP.

Salijan's reaction:

Scared only by the loss of their seats, they neither know nor want to listen to the voice of the democrats who demand real change that would enable Rama's departure! The citizens of Tirana do not have to bear any additional costs from misgovernment, neither gas nor Molotov cocktails!

March 22 is the day of Albanian pluralism. The day of the historical turning point after 45 years of murders, persecution and suppression of conscience. The political institution that free and courageous Albanians created was the Democratic Party of Albania:  the party of youth, of free intellectuals, of change and of European hope.

This is the symbolism of March 22. This date cannot and should not serve anyone's personality cult.

Because the Democratic Party was not created to hold office, but to overthrow regimes. And whoever has forgotten this has become part of the problem, not the solution.

The solution is clear: competition, votes and elections. Only in this way can the Democratic Party return victorious!
