The eighth national protest of the Democratic Party has begun, and unlike previous rallies, this time there were no political speeches from opposition leaders.

In the background of the protest, only the voice of journalist Bled Marku was heard, who listed the accusations and criticisms against Prime Minister Edi Rama and the government.

Meanwhile, protesters gathered in front of the Prime Minister's Office have continuously chanted "Rama out," while the situation so far appears calm.

After gathering on "Martyrs of the Nation" Boulevard, the protest is expected to continue with a march towards the Parliament and other areas of the capital.

Strong security measures have been taken in the area near the Parliament, while police have set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the Namazgja Mosque, preventing protesters from advancing further towards the Parliament.

Hundreds of police officers are on the ground, while the director of the Tirana Police, Skënder Hita, is closely following the development of the protest and the implementation of the plan of measures.
