Will the US elections affect the progress of justice reform?

The whole world has turned its eyes to the USA, where the new head of the White House will be elected.

The fate of many countries and geo-political situations depend on it, as there are many politicians in our country who are following the American race with alacrity.

Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta have openly declared for Trump and against the Democrats. Berisha was declared undesirable by the Biden administration and has fought hard to secure the support of the Republican administration. He hopes that with the return of Trump, his "non grata" will be removed and the criminal situation will change.

Meanwhile, Meta is in the cell because of Trump. SPAK has revealed that he hid lobbying in the US when Trump was president, and Meta's hopes were that he would escape prison with Trump's return. He even fought hard to stay out of prison until November 5.

But it seems that SPAK was one step ahead of them. If we look carefully, the prosecution sent Berisha for trial and arrested Ilir Meta before the elections were held in the USA. One might say it's a coincidence, but in hindsight, it might not be.

Ilir Meta was in the vortex of the prosecution before Trump won the US elections in 2016. At that time the CEZ-DIA scandal broke and there were many accusations against him. The prosecution started investigations and among the people who were in the scanner was Ilir Meta. But once Trump was elected president, the investigation slowed. Suddenly, in 2017, only Kastriot Ismailaj was convicted. At the same time, the lobbying scandal broke. The "Birn" investigative network at that time was the first to discover LSI's fraud with lobbying bills. Adriatik Llalla did not dare to open any investigation.

Meanwhile, we have the other element: there is still no American ambassador in Tirana, and it is likely that if Trump wins, we will have one of his supporters. Although generally the US in foreign policy does not change much, it is not known what happens. SPAK has so far worked according to Washington's instructions, and after the elections, nothing may be the same, especially if Trump wins.

Prosecutors seem to have smelled it and preempted the situation, leaving no trail for influence. Berisha's file has gone to trial and nothing can save him anymore. Meanwhile, Meta is behind bars, the facts have been covered up, and probably until the new president's administration starts work, he too may end up on trial.

But we also have other names that are obviously waiting for Trump's victory. Although the prime minister does not express it, a Trump victory would pave the way for Sazan's project and Rama would enter into friendship with the American president's son-in-law.

We also have McGonigal and several other files that the current administration has open, and it was not for nothing that he showed them "Follow the Rock". But we'll have to wait until Wednesday (if all goes well) to see who will take over the White House. / Pamphlet
