Democratic Party MP Ina Zhupa spoke about the political developments in the country. She said that all recent events are connected and are not coincidental.
According to her, Edi Rama has proven for 12 years that he has no connection with legality and the rule of law.
Zhupa emphasized that his way of governing, through unilateral and unexpected actions, represents a form of bandit governance, which serves clientelistic interests and in the function of oligarchs and investors close to power.
The MP also said that Rama is a typical example of a modern dictator, who has turned institutions into cardboard boxes that he moves at will. Zhupa adds that the prime minister used the residents of Theth and then rejected them.
"All events are connected to each other. Rama has shown for 12 years that he has no connection with legality and the rule of law, and this way of governing through his actions is a bandit government, which for clientelistic interests selects and stakes out certain areas and issues that it needs to address, when in fact it needs them to help an oligarch or a "strategic" investor."
There are several things that have happened simultaneously. First, the law on protected areas has been changed, and when this law was changed in the Assembly, in an interpellation with me, Mirela Kumbaro took the example of the residents of Theth, saying that they have built on their land and that this law will help them live legally.
Meanwhile, as shown and proven by what we said in the Assembly: the law was not made for them at all. The law was made for others, who would take public lands, destroy what the residents had built, and usurp what belongs to the residents.
The "Mountain Package" was established as a mechanism against the Electoral Code, which does not allow the adoption of such laws until two months before the elections, and they are in function of electoral service and money laundering of Rama's oligarchs.
He used the residents of Theth and then rejected them.
Rama is the typical example of a modern dictator, who has turned institutions into cardboard boxes that he moves at will, does not recognize the separation of powers, does not implement the Constitution, and nothing that exists in this country.
A man who claims to come with the vision of a European Albania, but who does not apply any criteria of the way those countries govern, where law, institutions, and equality before the law prevail.
"This shows what propaganda says and what reality is ," the DP MP told "Syri TV."
